I love the sketches you are doing - the graphic design quality of the woman and the words is perfect!! I have a Khadi paper sketchbook (given to me from a friend) and it is very absorbent...more pigment, less water and you'll get it right. So far, so good. I've also done some gluing of collage pieces in watercolors on it. Good luck!RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195909966013180868.post-61999047791878271662010-07-13T23:57:29.832-05:002010-07-13T23:57:29.832-05:00Is the happy medium in the memory? The other is lush and green and you wonder how you can get there - or should I say a reader of your journal would wonder since of course, you know already.Timareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15769047120660859743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195909966013180868.post-55993269715088922462010-07-03T22:50:30.111-05:002010-07-03T22:50:30.111-05:00They both have their strong points! I generally find myself talking too much and not sketching nearly enough, unless I'm alone!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231453420718519162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195909966013180868.post-58804743827006958352010-07-02T21:49:30.518-05:002010-07-02T21:49:30.518-05:00Both are very good! The second does not seem overworked to me, which is why I sometimes wonder whether watercolor is truly my medium.Dan Kenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13130079803891606515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195909966013180868.post-11208287299347851862010-07-02T21:43:19.143-05:002010-07-02T21:43:19.143-05:00Oh, wow--love both of them.
