We've been busy, out and about and having a good time. I've been a fan of Cirque du Soleil for many years and have been fortunate to have seen many of the shows. While I enjoy the Vegas extravaganzas it is the smaller tent shows that I really love. Talk about the smell of the grease paint and roar of the crowd!
The movie WALL-E was also on our "to do" list. I heard it was a dark movie but I found it full of hope and redemption. Those animators at PIXAR are incredible! Now we can discuss it intelligently with our granddaughter.
I too am a huge fan of Cirque and have only seen the tent shows when they come to Portland. We are hoping to go to Vegas next year and catch all of their shows.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, as always I love your drawings and the tie-ins you add.

Barbara.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've had a wonderful week. I am a fan of Cirque, too. Several years ago I challenged myself to draw some of the characters during the show and although I didn't see quite as much I think it enhanced my enjoyment by the intent concentration.
Keep drawing and having fun!
Karen
Oh, your wall-e just looks so sad, like he misses you. Great sketch, lots of personality.
